YOUR TIME. YOUR DEVICE.

A simple approach to privacy.

What stays in your browser

Time conversions happen locally. The site stores your selected city identifiers and 12/24-hour display preference in browser local storage so they are available on a return visit. It does not require an account or precise geolocation permission. “Use my device’s time zone” reads the time zone reported by your browser.

You can remove saved preferences through your browser’s site-data settings. The converter also works when local storage is unavailable, although preferences will not persist.

Named workspaces also stay in local storage, together with their city selections and meeting settings. You can delete them in the Saved workspaces dialog. Pinned comparison times are held in page memory and disappear when you leave or reload. City search downloads a directory from this site; search text is filtered locally and is not sent to a search service.

Shared links

A share link includes city or time zone identifiers, the selected instant, meeting duration, working hours, and the weekday setting in its URL. Anyone with the link can read those details. Do not treat a shared URL as private. The link does not include your calendar event title.

Calendar actions and clipboard

Calendar downloads are generated in your browser. The Google Calendar button opens Google with the event title, time, and time summary in the URL; Google’s privacy practices then apply. Copy actions write the selected link or summary to your clipboard after you click the relevant button.

Site requests

The site does not include advertising or third-party font hosting. Your browser makes ordinary requests to the website’s hosting provider. The provider may process IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, and technical logs to serve and protect the site. Shared-link parameters can appear in those request logs.

Website analytics

We load an analytics script from stats.kzfm.com to measure website usage. This creates requests to that analytics service in addition to requests to our website host. Page URLs, including shared-link parameters, may be included in analytics data. Do not put sensitive information in URLs.

Your choices

Use the site without creating an account. Remove a city from the converter when you no longer want it saved. Clear local site data to remove all stored preferences. Open external links only when you want to use those services.
